A stain that grows after rain
Marks on a ceiling or wall that spread in wet weather mean water is finding a way through the roof above.
Damp patch on the ceiling or a drip in the loft? Our Irlam roofers find where the water is getting in, show you the photos and repair the roof for a fixed written price.

Seen any of these? Have it looked at while it is still a small job. Inspections and written quotes are free.

Wet insulation, dark patches on the timbers or daylight through the roof covering all point to a leak.
Wind-driven rain gets under loose flashing, ridge tiles and verges long before it shows on a calm day.
We are a roofing team based on Liverpool Road. You get photos of the problem, a fixed written price and the job done properly.

Irlam grew quickly once the Manchester Ship Canal opened in 1894 and the steelworks followed in 1910, and terraced streets from around the turn of the century still stand in the older parts of Irlam and Cadishead. Roofs of that age are typically slate, with brick chimney stacks and lead flashing that have had more than a hundred years of weather.
We are based at 94a Liverpool Road in Irlam, so Higher Irlam, Lower Irlam, Cadishead and Hollins Green are all a short drive.

Usually, yes. We check the loft as well as the roof, because the wet patch inside is often some distance from where the rain gets in.
We repair the cause, not just the symptom. If the roof around the fault is sound, a proper repair should last as long as the rest of the roof.
It depends on the roof, the access and what we find. We inspect for free and give you a fixed written price before any work starts.
